TCeuropen kollokvio 2012
Seuraava kollokvio pidetään 20 huhtikuuta 2012 Portugalissa Aveirossa. Tilaisuutta isännöi TCeuropen jäsenyhdistys APCOMTEC. NEW TCEUROPE WORKING GROUPS
In its Annual General Meeting end of April 2011, TCeurope decided to start two new working groups:
- one for new, more interactive web pages,
- and another one for TCE Code of good practice.
A Committee for TCE Award will also start its work, and members are needed.
MD working group continues its work with new energy after its meeting in connection with the TCE Colloquium on 29 April 2011. See http://www.tceurope.org/index.php/projects.html .

TECHNICAL COMMUNICATION UK 2011 – September 20th- 22nd
The event will be held near Oxford, UK, from September 20th-22nd and is a highly enjoyable, three day conference that includes a day of workshops and two days of presentations. It has been designed for technical communicators, their managers and clients to keep in touch with trends, top up on skills and to meet people and exhibitors from all corners of the industry. It offers workshops and presentations about:
• making your complex business communications clearer and more effective
• managing the content-creation process
• producing content for international audiences
• using graphics and video in your communications
As in previous years, the conference has three streams of presentations. Two are open to any topic of interest; the third focuses on a specialist area that is related to, or offers opportunities to, technical communicators. This year’s specialist stream is “Anything but text”.
Although educational and thought-provoking, delegates have plenty of time to relax and network with fellow attendees in comfortable surroundings. We want as many people as possible to attend and enjoy this stimulating and very reasonably priced conference.

TCeuropen kollokvio 2011
Kollokvio pidettiin 29.4.2011 Brysselissä CENELEC-keskuksessa. Aiheena oli The impact of European directives and standards on technical communication .
Eri alojen tekniset viestijät valottivat direktiivien ja standardien implementointia teknisen viestinnän tuotoksissa. EU-komission konedirektiivityöryhmän puheenjohtaja piti erittäin hyödyllisen esityksen konedirektiivin tulkinnasta dokumentoinnissa ja vastasi yleisön kysymyksiin. Loppupaneelissa todettiin yksimielisesti yhteisen "Guidelinen" tarpeellisuus implementoinnissa.

TCeuropen Machine Directive työryhmä piti myös kokouksensa kollokvion yhteydessä 28.4.2011 ja sopi yhteisistä suuntaviivoista jatkotyöskentelyssä. Katso tarkemmin aiheesta TCeuropen kotisivuilta.
TCeuropen Machine Directive työryhmä käynnistynyt
TCeuropen vuosikokouksessa 16.4.2010 päätettiin perustaa kaksi uutta työryhmää.
Toinen työryhmistä, työnimeltään Machine Directive, on aloittanut toimintansa lokakuun lopussa, mutta mukaan ehtii vielä. Jos olet kiinnostunut, ilmoittaudu työryhmän vetäjälle Hansrudolf Steinhauerille TECOM Schweizistä. Lisätietoja löydät sivulta http://www.tceurope.org/index.php/projects.html .
TCeurope Award 2010 Hanna Riskulle
Palkinto myönnetään henkilölle, joka on työskennellyt ansiokkaasti teknisen viestinnän alan ja sen tunnettuuden edistämiseksi.
