Helsingissä järjestetään 8.11.2011 yhdistetty paikallistapaaminen ja yhdistyksen syyskokous

Paikka: Helsinki, Kaivopihan Ullakkosauna, Kaivokatu 10A

Aika: tiistai 8.11., 17.30 – 20.30

Aihe: Technical illustration: visual and stylistic considerations

Puhuja: Stewart Gray kouluttautui tekniseksi kuvittajaksi Isossa-Britanniassa. Hän on työskennellyt teknisten julkaisujen parissa ilmailualalla Isossa-Britanniassa ja Alankomaissa sekä autoteollisuudessa Saksassa. Suomessa hän on työskennellyt monta vuotta freelance-kuvittajana teknisen ja tuotekuvituksen alalla.

Tarjolla: ruokaa ja juomaa (viiniä, mehua) sekä mahdollisuus saunoa. Omat oluet/siiderit/ muita juomia mukaan.

A combined local event and the society’s Fall General Meeting will be held in Helsinki on November 8, 2011. The theme of the event will be Graphical Presentation of Technical Information and the speaker will be Stewart Gray.

Location: Helsinki, Kaivopihan Ullakkosauna, Kaivokatu 10A

Time: Tuesday November 8, 2011 from 17:30-20:30

Topic: Technical illustration: visual and stylistic considerations

Speaker: Illustrator Stewart Gray studied and trained as a Technical Illustrator in the UK. He has worked in technical publications in the aviation industry in the UK and the Netherlands, the automotive industry in Germany and worked for a good many years in Finland as a freelance illustrator specialised in technical and product illustration.

Snacks and drinks (wine and juice) will be provided. ‘Bring Your Own’ for all other kinds of drinks.
